This is a game created for the CMPM125 course at UCSC. The requirements for the game were satisfied with:

- at least 2 gameplay mechanics, we have shooting, reloading, fall damage, movement/jump/sprint, and a cool enemy attack that locks on as it kills you with range.
- a clear goal structure of level progression and npc dialogue guiding the player, and linear levels
- functioning start, end, and game over menus, alongside credits, and options
- at least 2 juice interactions, such as the gun flash, reload animation (very detailed), a gradient on the level progression circles (a particle system), and maybe even the enemy ray beams as the particle system flows toward the player
- have 2 cut scenes
- several interior rooms and several exterior rooms as well (interior rooms in second and 3rd level primarily)
- neon signs, thunder, flashing red light in sky
- several very detailed maps and the gun model
- animated gun reload and fire
- a non default martial shader that creates glowing effect
- several particle systems like the progression circles, rain, enemy beams
- shooting decal for non particle vfx
- many audio effects including rain, thunder, shoot (2), reload, explosion
- nice start and end UI and other menus
- Its storming
- other characters you can interact with
- patrolling enemies with line of sight and FSM (attack, patrol, chase)
- pause system
- we also conformed to a theme handed to us (reset the battlefield) and chose to tie it into the story where the Sentinel robot (the player) tries to save the day from an enemy AI invasion, but only ends up resetting the timeline a few hours before, ultimately resetting the battlefield and the game looping itself (similar to the popular game LIMBO)
